We were saddened to hear about the death of Eric Bolling‘s 19-year-old son last month.

The recently fired Fox News host and his family were hit by the news of Eric Chase Bolling Jr.‘s drug overdose while still in the middle of a sexual harassment scandal.

There have been reports Eric Jr. had turned to drugs amid stress of his father’s ignominy. Now we know his death was officially ruled an accidental overdose — and what kind of drugs he was on.

Eric Sr. posted to Facebook and Twitter Thursday afternoon:

This revelation comes just hours after Donald Trump‘s declaration that the opioid crisis is a public health emergency.
